Solitude

Solitude is a difficult path yet it is rewarding.

Being alone gives you the freedom and autonomy to live on your own terms and decide what is important to you.

There is no crowd to follow and you don’t have the feedback from a community to give you an assessment of how things are going – that is only up to you and your judgement. You do not use the same metrics. You are playing on different ladders. Their motivation is different and you sacrifice but, as a way of accessing much more in return.

It’s challenging. You can’t actively check upon the thoughts of others as their data is irrelevant to your approach. You can’t weigh one-for-one. Instead, it’s about finding one’s own balance and doing things based, not on ego, but on intrinsic factors. It’s about seeking the truth without being blinded by delusions – it’s the raw truth and it requires an objective approach to find it. Being a part of a group requires following a hierarchy and a leader, being alone is freedom.
